The word "coffee" is derived from the Greek "Kaweh", which means "strength and passion". Coffee trees are small evergreen trees in the Rubiaceae family. Coffee for daily consumption is made from coffee beans with various cooking utensils. Coffee beans refer to the nuts in the fruit of the coffee tree and use appropriate roasting methods to bake. All over the world, people love coffee more and more. The subsequent "coffee culture" is full of every moment of life. Whether at home, in the office, or in various social occasions, people are drinking coffee, which is gradually associated with fashion and modern life.
In the 5th century AD, an Ethiopian shepherd accidentally discovered that his sheep were always bouncing, excited, and found it strange, so he secretly observed it, and later discovered that the sheep had become so because they had eaten some kind of red fruit. The shepherd curiously tasted one and found it sweet and refreshing. Later, he and his flock often went to eat this delicious fruit. One day, a Muslim passed by here and picked some of this incredible red fruit and took it back to the faithful to eat. Subsequently, the magical effect of this fruit spread.
The introduction of coffee tree
The coffee tree is an evergreen cotyledon belonging to the Coffee genus of the Rubiaceae family in botany, originally from Ethiopia. Its height can reach ten meters, while the artificial planter is only two to four meters high due to pruning. Coffee will bear fruit in about three to four years, and the output will decrease after twenty to twenty-five years. However, some coffee trees have a life span of more than 100 years but still bear fruit. The branches of the coffee tree grow opposite, showing horizontal or drooping branches, while the leaves are opposite on the short-diameter branches. The two main types are Coffee Arabica and Coffee Robusta. The leaves of Arabica are about 15cm long. Robusta's leaves are longer, appearing soft ovoid or pointed, and are bright green in color.
