I. Introduction of iced coffee
Cold brew coffee has become very popular in recent years, which is a kind of coffee brewed in cold water for a long time. However, iced coffee doesn't take long time to make and it is just as efficient as regular hot coffee. The taste of iced coffee should retain the original bright feeling and rich taste of hot coffee, and should not be diluted by water and become dull taste. In contrast, taste characteristics of iced coffee and ordinary hot coffee are completely different, with less sour and more mild bitterness.
One of the biggest challenges in making iced coffee is how to balance the amount of water used to brew it with the amount of water created when the ice melts. In order to avoid the diluted taste of coffee, we need to use less water when making coffee. Also, let the hot coffee sink directly onto the ice so that the ice melts and the coffee cools without diluting the taste. When Colet self service coffee machine is used to make iced coffee, the brewing time is about the same as that of regular coffee. So, you might ask "how can I make iced coffee?"

Ice 234g
Filter paper

The ratio of water and coffee powder used is 14:1, which means 14 parts of water for every part of coffee, and it is slightly stronger than the usual 17:1 ratio for hand-brewed coffee.
2. Operation steps
Step 1: Boil water
Boil a little more water for wet preheat filter paper and coffee pot.
Step 2: Wet the filter paper
The filter paper is thick, if not wet in advance, it will make the coffee with paper flavor, so be sure to wet the filter paper in advance, wet time should be longer, 5-10 seconds is recommended. After getting wet, drain the kettle. It also preheats the coffee pot at the same time.
Step 3: Add ice
Pour all ice cubes into the jug.
Step 4: Add the ground coffee
Pour 50g of coffee powder into the filter paper. The coffee powder should be ground moderately, between the thickness of ordinary drip filter and French press coffee.
Step 5: Pour water
The method of pouring water is exactly the same as that of making coffee by hand. Once the water comes to a boil, wait for 20-30 seconds before pouring. Pour in a small amount of water first, let the coffee powder fully soaked, pre-brewing. The pre-brewing time should be between 20 and 40 seconds, during which time the coffee will fully release carbon dioxide. If you see dry powder that has not been exposed to the water, stir it gently.
Step 6: Remove the filter paper and prepare to enjoy
After pouring all the water in, most or all of the ice may melt completely. According to personal preference, add ice cubes when drinking.
